Issaquah Law Group - Injury Litigation Attorneys

TRUST: Personal injuries are personal. Which is why the attorneys at ILG treat every client and every case differently. Because they are different, and extremely personal. ILG was founded on the principle that strong client relationships are the key to successful legal representation and strong relationships are built on trust. Trust that you will be heard. Trust that you will be protected. Trust that every effort will be made to see justice done in your case. The singular goal of every ILG attorney is to earn and preserve that trust.

EXPERIENCE: ILG attorneys have a broad base of litigation experience to draw on in all Federal and State courts from on-the-ground investigations to Supreme Court appeals and we bring this experience to bear on behalf of our clients in personal injury and wrongful death claims arising out of motor vehicle accidents, bus versus pedestrian accidents, defective and dangerous products, medical malpractice, slip/trip and fall accidents, and catastrophic losses due to fire.

LOCATION: We are located on the Eastside in Issaquah, convenient to Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Renton, Sammamish and North Bend. However, we provide legal services in King County, Pierce County, Snohomish County and throughout the entire state of Washington.

In addition, through The Amateur Law Professor Blog and LinkedIn postings, we share pertinent opinions and decisions of the Washington State Supreme Court, as well as the pertinent opinions and decisions of the Washington State Courts of Appeal so that our clients can be as update to date on cutting legal issues as we are.

When Dreams Go Weird

I just thought I'd share this rather odd dream of mine. I am NOT a morning person by any stretch of the imagination. This usually results in one alarm going off at 7:00, one at 7:24, and the final at 7:32. After that its a mad rush to get to work by my appointed start time of 8:30.

I know what you're thinking: "Justin, how on earth do you expect to be successful as an attorney if you're not waking up early?!" Easy, I stay late, usually until 7 or 8 at night, and I bring work home with me for a little light reading. I function much better as a night owl. I ramp up my brain in the morning hours with the blogging.

Anyhow, this morning found me taking my usual late morning 7:24-7:32 snooze when I had the following dream. I was talking with the partner to whom I'm assigned. Those of you that know him, know that he is a wine buff. Turns out (at least in the dream) this had more than a little to do with his success as a trial attorney.

You see, in my dream world, in order to settle cases, you had to pour a very nice bottle of wine into the drain if you were a plaintiff. I commented that it was a shame, and who would know if we just didn't pour it down the drain, instead emptying it into some other container. The partner commented that it would be a violation of the RPCs (Rules of Professional Conduct) to do otherwise, and he wasn't about to stake his reputation as a great trial lawyer on saving a bottle of wine.

Moral of the story? Always follow the RPCs, no need to get disbarred for doing something stupid.
