Detachable Penis or Scope of Consent: Man's Circumcision Ends in Emasculation
A Kentucky man will most certainly end up on the winning end of a settlement to make up for a comedy of errors by medical personnel at Commonwealth Urology in Lexington, Kentucky.
Phillip Seaton went in for what was supposed to be a circumcision. Evidently, doctors exceeded the scope of consent in two areas: their use of general anesthesia, and their removal of his 'lil buddy. The doc performing the surgery found penile cancer. Rather than closing up and discussing options with his patient, the doctor took matters into his own hands.
